Implants are placed in the jaw bone by applying a small
surgery. Implants look like tooth roots which have various
diameters and size and are usually titanium based
cylindirical substructures.
It is not possible to apply a fixed prothesis where there is
missing teeth at the back part of the jaw. For this reason,
implants enable dentists to apply bridges.
At the same time implants can be preferred where there are
few missing teeth and where natural teeth are not required
to be cut and reduced in size.
An implant can be done for one tooth as well as many missing
teeth.
The recovery period will be completed within a few months
after the expert implantolog has placed the imlants. Later,
your dentist will design the most appropriate suprastructure. |
